JLivian is a respected Model-maker and Sculptor with a career spanning over 25 years. His portfolio boasts commissions from high profile individuals, to international corporate organisations and multi million pounds film premieres including ‘Batman Begins’ to the recent ‘Star Wars Episode Xl – The Rise of Skywalker’.
Background
Born in London, JLivian started sculpting at the tender age of 7 where it was evident that he had a talent for modelling. Although he had his toys to play with, he found greater pleasure in modelling anything and everything from his favourite superheroes to motorbikes, to cars to spaceships using mostly plasticine. He was even smart enough to figure out that if he incorporated card and plastic it would complement the overall appearance and functionality of the model.
Knowing that he was skilful with his hands, he enrolled on to a model making course. After college he spent a number of years establishing himself as a model maker and sculptor. This led him to acquiring experience working on highly detailed and precise product, prototypes, and architectural models in the film industry. This exposure further enhanced his knowledge of materials and technical skills in modelling and sculpting.

In addition, he recently worked closely with the CEO and Founder of Magic Camera Models, at Shepperton Studios, on props and models for the films; Cats, Men in Black 4, Kingsman 3, Venom 2, and Artemis Fowl (currently on Netflix). He has also been privileged to work at; Pinewood studios, Leavesden studios, Elstree studios, Longcross studios and Ealing studios all based in the UK.
Private Commissions
When JLivian is not working in the film studio, you’ll find him completing private commissions for one-off life casts or sculptures in his home studio.
Whether he is creating life casts, classic figurative work or contemporary abstract pieces, JLivian has a passion for form and perfection that is evident in his beautiful workmanship, thus truly giving him a leading edge as a sculptor in the visual arts industry.
